An enthusiastic and talented MusicTeacher is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield for a permanent full-time position commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
Responsibilities
- They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons covering performance, composition, and appreciation across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The role involves effectively teaching musical theory and history, adhering to the school's curriculum.
- They will foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents.
- Contribution to extracurricular musical activities will be expected.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music is essential.
- Experience teaching Music lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- Strong musical skills and a solid understanding of music theory are expected.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
