Remedy Education is working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in Enfield to recruit a creative and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in September 2025.

This role plays a vital part in supporting pupils through their early Key Stage 2 learning journey. You'll help children deepen their understanding, develop core literacy and numeracy skills, and build confidence in a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages independence and curiosity
  • Use formative and summative assessment to track and support pupil progress
  • Support children in developing key skills in reading, writing, maths, and reasoning
  • Create a positive and well-organised classroom environment that promotes inclusion and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support all learners effectively

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 3
  • A good understanding of child development and the KS2 curriculum
  • A creative, nurturing, and inclusive approach to teaching
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • A commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply and will receive mentoring and support
