KS2 SEMH Support - Primary School (N21)

Part-Time | 8:00am - 4:00pm

I'm recruiting for a mainstream primary school in the N21 area seeking an experienced SEMH Support professional to work within Key Stage 2.

This role requires someone confident supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, with strong de-escalation and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting KS2 pupils with SEMH needs (1:1 and small groups)

  • Implementing effective de-escalation strategies

  • Managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

  • Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning

  • Working closely with teaching and support staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs

  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation experience (essential)

  • Patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent approach

  • Experience in a primary school setting (KS2 desirable)
