A specialist SEN school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on the learning and development of students with autism and complex needs.
The Role:

Full-time English Teacher position

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to secondary-aged pupils with a range of SEN, including ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition)

Plan, deliver, and assess learning that meets individual education plans (IEPs)
-
Work closely with a supportive team including therapists, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff
-
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
The School:

Strong emphasis on personalised learning, communication development, and life skills

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable

A passion for teaching students with additional needs and an adaptable, patient approach

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Current, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
