Responsibilities
- You'll plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, covering a wide range of sports and physical activities, promoting skill development, teamwork, and healthy competition.
- The role involves fostering students' physical literacy, sportsmanship, and an understanding of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
- You'll lead extra-curricular sports clubs and contribute to the school's successful sporting programme.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education is essential.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective PE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of various sports and physical activities, coaching abilities, and the ability to inspire boys to participate, are expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom and pitch-side management, are vital.
