Interim Fire Safety Advisor - Enfield Council

Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor on an interim basis to support compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
路Conduct fire risk assessments for complex and non-complex residential buildings, including High-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
路Provide professional fire safety advice to senior managers, housing teams, and other stakeholders.
路Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and support providers to ensure fire risks are effectively assessed and managed.
路Support continuous improvement in fire safety management across the Council's residential portfolio.

Essential Requirements:
路UK Resident
路Minimum 5 years' experience conducting fire risk assessments within the social housing sector, including complex buildings.
路Level 5 or higher qualification in fire safety or fire safety engineering from a recognised fire sector professional body.
路Graduate-level (or higher) membership of a recognised fire or construction professional body.
路Strong understanding of building construction methods and fire safety legislation.
路Ability to produce clear reports and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
