We are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Enfield that is looking to appoint a Welfare Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's health, wellbeing, and safeguarding within a school environment.

The Role:

  • Providing welfare support for pupils, including first aid and medical needs

  • Monitoring attendance and supporting families with pupil wellbeing

  • Working closely with the safeguarding and pastoral teams

  • Acting as the first point of contact for health, welfare, and pastoral concerns

  • Supporting the wider school team to promote a safe and nurturing environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a welfare, pastoral, or safeguarding role (school experience desirable)

  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to train)

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children, families, and staff

  • Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a supportive team
