We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing educational support to students with special educational needs. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students.

Day-to-day of the role:

Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher and SENCO. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities. Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary. Assist class teachers with maintaining student records. Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills. Required Skills & Qualifications:


Requirements:
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role is needed.

Understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Strong communication skills.

Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach.
