About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager on a contract basis to oversee the delivery of electrical installation projects within the utilities sector, including water and wastewater infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on contractor who can manage multiple stakeholders, ensure high-quality delivery, and meet strict timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical installation projects from planning, design, and procurement through to construction, testing, and handover.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources, implementing risk mitigation where necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, health and safety standards, and client requirements.

  • Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and reporting.

  • Support project close-out, documentation, and lessons-learned processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing electrical installation projects in the utilities or infrastructure sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation standards.

  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Experience managing multiple contractors and site-based teams.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline preferred.

  • Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) advantageous.
