We have partnered with a highly successful, international business based on the Essex/Herts border who are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller on a full time, permanent basis to head up one of their accounting entities. You will be reporting into the Managing Director, carrying out a wide range of responsibilities whilst managing a small team.
As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
- Inspire and lead the team to deliver high performance, while fostering employee engagement, development, and succession planning
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive the identification and implementation of process improvements
- Direct the preparation and submission of the annual balance sheet budget, while contributing to the profit and loss budgeting process
- Lead the team to ensure timely completion of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and related deliverables
- Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements
- Ensure full compliance with all tax obligations
- Manage the review and prompt submission of the weekly cash flow forecast
- Support external auditors during both interim and year-end audit processes
- Hold overall accountability for assets under construction
Requirements:
As a Finance Manager you will need:
- ACCA, CIMA OR ACA Qualified
- 5+ years finance experience
- Prior experience of working in a large company
- ERP system experience
As a Finance Manager you will be receive:
- £60,000 - £70,000
- Hybrid & flexible working
