CSS Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client who are looking for a Flood Risk Engineer in Epping, Essex.
This is on an initial 3 month contract with view to extend.
The purpose of this role is to be the technical specialist and able to deliver Council services across flood risk analysis including reviewing flood risk assessments, SuDS designs, responding to planning applications as well as contributing when required to the management of the council's flood storage assets.
What you need:
- Relevant proffesial degree/qualification or demonstratable equivalent work experience in flood risk engineering, drainage or environmental protection.
- Previous experience in an organisation of comparable scale and complexity.
- Proven IT Skills, Using MS Office, GIS mapping systems.
- Knowledge of MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Council financial and procurement processes.
