Our client, an equal opportunities employer have an urgent requirement for a Permanent Accounts Manager to join their finance Team at their offices in the Epping Forest District.
This role entails, working closely with the directors and wider finance team to ensure efficient financial management, accurate reporting and compliance with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing new processes and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
This is a hands on position requiring strong analytic skills,excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Reconciliation
- month end processes
- Asset Register Management
- Audit Support
- Tax compliance, including preparing and submitting CIS returns and quarterly VAT returns
- Financial Reporting
- General finance support
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of month-end case processes
- Experience with VAT CIS and statutory audit preparation
- Proficiency in managing asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong IT skills
Hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary £40,000-£45,000
