Senior Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fleet/Transport Planner who thrives in Fast Pace Environments and can adapt to operational requirements & demands. You will be part of a great close nit team who stive for excellence ensuring all client requirements are fulfilled and in line with SLA’s 

They specialize in managing liquid waste disposal, sewer clearing, septic tank maintenance, and hazardous waste removal. Their team comprises skilled professionals proficient in industrial waste management and hazardous waste handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and streamline waste collection and transportation routes to minimize fuel usage, lower emissions, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Determine the optimal fleet size and vehicle types required for planned and reactive tasks.

• Coordinate driver schedules for both scheduled and emergency assignments.

• Oversee fleet maintenance, including vehicle servicing, inspections, and replacements as needed.

• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding waste transport promptly and effectively.

• Create and execute emergency response protocols for unforeseen incidents like accidents or spills.

• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Be on-call for emergency assignments.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 17:30.

Salary: DOE £40-45K

On-call duty every 1 in 3 or 4 weeks, compensated at £650 per week,
