The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Site MEICA Engineer to join an industry Energy consultancy client, the role will be based at Epsom/Surrey, and will be expected to travel to any location or site within South East Water's supply areas.

Job Overview:

Working as part of the MEICA team, you will report to the Senior Site MEICA/Commissioning Engineer. As a Site MEICA/Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all MEICA elements of capital delivery

Some of your duties will include:

Ensure that commissioning and handover plans are complete and robust for each project

Assist in ensuring the quality of deliverables meets business and regulatory requirements and that projects are carried out in line with the defined scope and commissioning plan

Help to drive technical excellence in the commissioning of the plant

Undertake witness testing/commissioning responsibilities under the most appropriate Health and Safety Legislation under direction set out by the Senior Site MEICA Engineer

On-site inspections and surveys of works in accordance with standards and specifications, and on-site testing and commissioning.

What do you need to succeed?

HNC or a Degree in Engineering or equivalent training.

Substantial experience with MEICA-based installations, with a reputation for technical excellence.

Good organisational skills.

Good technical report writing, editorial skills, and good oral communication.

Good people skills, team oriented with the ability to work closely with peers, with the ability to influence outcomes and staff who are not necessarily part of direct line management.

Document review - O&M, RAMS, SAT, Commissioning Plans.

MEICA Technical Expert with the ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making in complex situations.

Will have experience in Operations and Commissioning (ideally), including water utilities.
