We are seeking a CNC Machinist who is confident in setting and operating CNC lathes or mills. This role is perfect for someone with a background in producing small-batch, high-accuracy components. The company offers a stable and clean workshop environment and is committed to training the right individual in programming over time.
Day-to-day of the role:- Set and operate CNC lathes or mills using controls such as Fanuc.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce precise components.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, verniers, and gauges to maintain high tolerances.
- Assist with setups and tooling changes, ensuring efficient production processes.
- Contribute to a proactive team of skilled CNC Machinists, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, particularly in setting and operating CNC lathes or mills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to undergo further training to develop programming skills.
