Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: gatwick and heathrow
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: Night shifts - 8:00pm to 4:00am
Pay Rate: 200 - 250 per shift (DOE & qualifications)
About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Electrical Engineers to join our team supporting critical works within an airport environment. This role will start on a temporary contract with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right candidates.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and airport safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works within the airport environment.
Perform testing and inspection duties in line with regulations.
Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and other relevant standards.
Adhere to strict health & safety and airside security requirements.
Work effectively during night shifts to minimise disruption to airport operations.
Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to deliver works on time.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition (BS 7671).
Valid ECS/CSCS card.
Ability to obtain or hold an airside pass (with a 5-year checkable reference history).
Willingness to work night shifts.
Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable Qualifications
2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection.
IPAF / PASMA certification.
Previous experience working within an airport or similar secure environment.
