We are part of a top 30 UK broker group and are known for our commitment to customer excellence and integrity. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our thriving team in Wallington, Surrey.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and retain a small book of commercial business for existing clients.
  • Actively grow and develop a strong pipeline of new business across various lines of Commercial Insurance, ensuring full FCA compliance.
  • Provide high-quality service to all clients, tailored to their needs and requirements, while also growing revenue for the business.
  • Retain existing clients through active client management and demonstrate knowledge and delivery of service to build client confidence.
  • Identify and contact potential clients to convert to new business and generate referrals.
  • Network to increase awareness of the proposition and communicate the firm's proposition effectively to clients.
  • Follow processes and policies and work within FCA rules and guidance as interpreted by the firm's compliance policies.
  • Create, manage, and follow through prospects to create a pipeline of prospective new clients.
  • Collect fees and premiums in accordance with the firm's processes.
  • Build good working relationships with your immediate team, all other stakeholders, and effectively network with suppliers and clients.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of industry exposure as a Senior Commercial Account Handler.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
  • Experience working to high standards of FCA compliance.
  • Consistent record of target achievement and business growth.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including use of an insurance IT system, ideally Acturis.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness.
  • Willingness to work towards Cert CII or already hold qualifications.
