We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and professional Water Treatment company, who are winning new contracts and expanding their workforce. They are looking for a driven Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to join their team in the South East of England. You must have excellent technical knowledge and ideally a well-rounded skillset in order to cover reactive and PPM works. Salaries and packages are excellent and include fantastic training and overtime opportunities.
Our client would prefer candidates to be based within the following locations: Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Weybridge, Woking, Guildford, Twickenham, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Reading, Slough, Windsor, Southall, Wembley, Harrow, Watford, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Enfield, Chigwell, Harlow, Epping, Hatfield, St Albans, High Wycombe, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Rainham, Basildon, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup, Sevenoaks.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have strong hands-on experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer for a well-established company
- Excellent industry technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274
- Ideally will hold plumbing qualifications, such as: NVQ, City & Guilds and G3 Vented & Unvented
- It would be beneficial to hold electrical installation qualifications / experience, but this is not essential
- Strong written ability
- IT literate
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Travelling across the South East of England to cover a range of commercial, local authority, manufacturing and public sector client sites
- Undertaking the installations, servicing and commissioning of Reverse Osmosis, CLO2, UV Filtration and Water Softeners systems
- Closed system sampling and analysis
- Valve installations and replacements, including: RPZ
- Servicing of chemical dosing equipment
- Chemical dosing
- Being flexible to travel as required
- Completing both reactive / emergency and PPM works
- Upselling of services to clients
- Writing regular service reports
