Our client, a well-established and friendly firm of chartered accountants based in Epsom, is seeking a proactive Practice Administrator to join their team. This is a varied and client-facing role, ideal for someone with a background in professional services administration—perhaps within an accountancy or legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing incoming correspondence including phone calls, emails, letters, and client records
- Providing administrative support across the practice as required
- Overseeing general office management including utilities, services, and supplies
- Coordinating onboarding procedures for new clients
- Updating job planning systems to track assignments and monitor deadlines
- Maintaining statutory registers and company secretarial records using professional CCH practice management software
- Liaising with clients to issue documents for approval and ensure statutory compliance
- Supporting the internal finance function, including invoicing and credit control
You have :
- Prior professional services office or administrative experience.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Confident IT user with the ability to adapt to different systems (CCH knowledge is useful but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask
