Locum Band 7 Senior Clinical Pharmacist (Frailty & Community Hospitals)

Band: 7

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Based in Epsom with travel between Dorking andMolesey

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist looking for a flexible opportunity in frailty and community hospital care? We are seeking a Rotational Senior Clinical Pharmacist to provide expert support across a range of community hospital sites.

About the Role

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy input within community hospital and inpatient frailty services.
  • Review and optimise medicines for patients living with frailty and polypharmacy.
  • Support discharge planning and safe transitions of care.
  • Contribute to service development, assisting senior colleagues with guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Gain valuable experience through wider rotations, developing your clinical, leadership, and managerial skills.

We are looking for GPhC-registered pharmacists with:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience, ideally within frailty, older people, or community hospital services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within an MDT.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to service delivery.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
