We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the necessary skills to handle various plumbing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly as required for different projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Handle heavy lifting as necessary when installing or repairing plumbing components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for remodeling or renovation projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Previous experience on construction sites is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work.
- Additional skills in carpentry or maintenance person services are advantageous.
