Our client is seeking an experienced Mandarin or Cantonese Equipment & Engineering Project Manager to lead our production equipment strategy, maintenance, and optimization initiatives.   • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute annual engineering plans, maintenance schedules, and CAPEX budgets.
  • Project Management: Oversee end-to-end equipment upgrades, installations, and automation initiatives.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all machinery meets food safety (HACCP), CE, and OSHA standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing maintenance and engineering team.
  • Process Optimization: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve layouts and workflows.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
  • Sustainability: Lead energy-saving and ESG-aligned projects (e.g., reducing waste/energy consumption).
  • Innovation Support: Provide technical expertise for new product R&D and feasibility studies.

QualificationsEducation & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Preferred Certifications: NEBOSH/IOSH, Electrician License, Refrigeration Certification.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in equipment/project management, with 2+ years in leadership.
  • Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or automated production (strong advantage).
  • Proven track record in cost control, automation, and Lean methodologies.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
