Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician.

Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician skills/experience:
- Time served apprentice or have other relevant demonstrable training.
- Qualified to ONC/HNC/NVQ3/C&G standards or equivalent
- Industrial engineering, maintenance or improvement activity background.
- Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
- Good communication skills, computer literate
- Ability to work well under pressure, performance and results orientated
- Ability to problem solve and seeks continuous improvements
- Good team player who can demonstrate reliability
- Ability to work at heights
E & I Maintenance Technician - duties:
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the E & I Maintenance Technician will be carrying out reactive, planned, preventative and predictive maintenance on all types of equipment, machinery and processes, operated across the production plant in Erith.
- To carry out fault-finding and repair on equipment to minimise plant downtime and optimize efficiency. (Fault finding and rectification within low voltage (<1000Vac) and industrial control circuits).
- Completing basic mechanical tasks independently and supporting in those of a more complex nature.
- Completing inspection audit documents for record keeping purposes and providing plant condition feedback.
- To conduct routine inspection and maintenance of operational plant and infrastructure services.
- To undertake electrical, instrumentation, automation control and calibration as appropriate.
- To perform electrical isolations as part of the Co‘s Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) safe system of work.
- Use the Maximo work order system for creation and completion of work orders.
- To ensure that at all times tools, equipment and your working area is fit for purpose.
- To work as part of the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Establish and maintain good housekeeping standards in all areas of influence and observe good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.
- Actively encourage the ongoing development of a safety culture by participation in the Co’s safety initiatives and as per legislative requirements.
