PPA Teacher - Primary School

Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a PPA Teacher for a modern and inclusive Primary School in Erith.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a committed and adaptable PPA Teacher to join a supportive, two form entry primary school in Beckenham. This vibrant school values inclusivity and community, providing an excellent environment for both staff and students. When you start this position, you will be the teacher when classroom specialists are utilising their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time and will be teaching from Years 1-6. This full-time position starts in September and runs until July 2026, offering a rewarding and varied teaching experience in a welcoming setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups (Nursery to Year 6) to cover PPA time for teaching staff.
  • Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure effective learning outcomes during PPA cover.
  • Support the ongoing development and assessment of student progress in line with the school's policies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching across various primary school year groups.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, including the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, able to cover a variety of subjects and year groups as part of the PPA provision.
  • The ability to be a real team player, when developing and maintaining relationships with staff across the school setting.
  • Be passionate about inclusive education, with a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of all students.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with both students and staff.
  • Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting is essential.
