Recruitment Account Manager - Transport

Salary to 35,000 per annum + bonus.


Location: Erith

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our team and work onsite with one of our key clients in Erith. As the Onsite Account Manager, you will be responsible for liaising directly with our client and HGV 1 Drivers to fulfil all bookings and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

Hours: The working days for this position include working weekends. Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday.

This is a hybrid role, based onsite at our client's facility in Erith, with some opportunity to work from home. Our ideal candidate may be located around Dartford, Brixton, Bromley, Woolwich, Hackney, Greenwich, or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with our client and HGV Drivers working on the contract to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate and fill all bookings in a timely manner, ensuring that staffing levels meet the client's demands.
  • Manage, rota, pre-booked and ad hoc HGV Driver shifts
  • Plan Drivers onto shifts, manage driver hours in line with WTR.
  • Complete DVLA checks and manage Driver infringements
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to include out-of-hours work on-call.

  • Previous Transport Recruitment / Transport office / planning experience.
  • Driving license is essential
  • Computer literate (Microsoft office)
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and by phone/email
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Able to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
