We’re working with a well-regarded, forward-thinking accountancy practice based in modern offices in Sunbury. With a growing client base and a vibrant, supportive team, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career.

The RoleYou’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client portfolio including SMEs, sole traders, partnerships, and larger corporates. This role offers a 60/40 split between accounts and audit work and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory, year-end, and rental accounts
  • Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and preparation of VAT returns using Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Management accounts preparation and financial reporting
  • Assisting with audit fieldwork for a variety of clients
  • Using CCH software to produce accounts and maintain records
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborating closely with the wider team to meet deadlines and ensure compliance

About You

  • AAT qualified and/or actively studying ACA/ACCA (with at least 30% current UK audit exposure)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
  • Solid knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and bookkeeping
  • Confident using cloud-based software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and CCH
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
  • Organised, motivated, and detail-oriented
