Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong financial management experience, either qualified/ part qualified in ACCA or CIMA, but we would also consider someone qualified through experience.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Manage and reconcile CIS payments, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Invoice and accounts payable management
- Credit control and accounts receivable management with regular suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
- Ensure all financial transactions and expenses are accurately recorded
- Supporting the weekly payroll process
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team
- Point of contact for external auditors during annual audits
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial role
- Experience on finance management software's such as Xero and Quickbooks
- Strong knowledge and experience with CIS payments and VAT calculations (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- ACCA/ CIMA qualified (or equivalent) is preferred
