Assistant Project Manager (Rail / Infrastructure) - Inside IR35
Location: London
Contract Length: 6 months (Potential to extend)
Pay Rate: 250 - 300 per day (Umbrella)

A leading infrastructure authority is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support the delivery of vital infrastructure projects across a range of assets including buildings, platforms, and road surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Scheme Project Managers with the delivery of a range of infrastructure projects such as road resurfacing, roof repairs, platform works, and installation of mechanical systems (e.g., air conditioning units).
  • Support the development and execution of project plans, ensuring all required preparation and dependencies are captured.
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to Project Managers, including risks, issues, and supporting evidence of deliverables.
  • Manage and distribute key project data and documentation to stakeholders and team members as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of an HND qualification in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience working on rail or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes and tools.
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
