Overview

Duties

• Assemble and fit components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Install machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
