Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support construction and maintenance projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others on-site.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, structures, and temporary installations.
- Assist in the transportation of materials to various locations on-site.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly.
