We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administratorwith experience in a customer service / contact centre / reception environment, strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and good IT skills.

The organisation is looking for a Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator to be the friendly face (and voice!) of their housing service - whether greeting visitors in the reception area or helping customers over the phone with their queries and concerns.

As the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator you will be working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment acing as the first point of contact on the telephone and face to face. You will deliver an efficient, courteous, speedy and friendly customer service, providing accurate information and advice to customers on the services on offer, managing site visitors and signing for deliveries.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers - in person and on the phone - offering helpful, friendly, and informed support
  • Handling repair requests, maintenance issues and queries about rent accounts, housing benefits, and more
  • Keeping the reception area welcoming, tidy and stocked with up-to-date information
  • Diagnosing and logging repairs accurately, coordinating contractors, and making sure the right job gets done at the right time
  • Supporting with tasks like pest control requests, rechargeable works, minor aids/adaptations, complaints logging, and social media monitoring
  • Helping colleagues across teams to keep things running smoothly and putting the customer at the heart of everything you do

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a customer service / contact centre / reception environment - ideally in housing or a similar sector
  • A confident phone manner and strong communication skills
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Good IT skills
  • An eye for detail
