Nursery Nurse

Our Client are looking to employ a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their Quality Private Day Nursery based near Evesham, Worcestershire. The suitable candidate must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have knowledge and awareness of all nursery Policies and Procedures making sure these are implement at all times
  • Have a good knowledge and some experience within all areas of a child’s development
  • Have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stages.
  • Become a key person to children within the group you work. Building positive relationship with them and their families. Complete child observations using online learning journal Tapestry. {follow role of the Key Person}
  • Help to provide a stimulating engaging learning environment which reflects the diverse interests and beliefs of the children in which all children are happy and enjoy the activities provided.
  • Plan and provide a balanced curriculum for all the child in your care, whilst introducing new cultures and to broaden children’s experiences.
  • Have the ability to help children to respect people of different race, ability, religion, gender and culture. Treat all children as individuals.
  • Have an commitment and passion to caring and nurturing children to have the best childcare experience at Tweenies.
  • Have a positive approach and an ability to set appropriate limits and boundaries for the children.
  • Work as part of a team alongside other nursery staff ensuring high quality childcare at all times.
  • Discuss any concerns about children or their parents with your Senior Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Management team.
  • Seek help and advice from Senior Nursery Practitioners.

For this role you must have:

Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification, NNEB or BTEC Nat Dip or CACHE Dip in Childcare or NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent
