What You Will Do:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repair on packhouse machinery, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the general upkeep of the building and site, completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Identify areas for improvement within production processes and equipment operation for enhanced reliability and reduced resource usage.
  • Assist with timely completion of projects and upgrade works, supporting the engineering team.
  • Supervise contractors on site, ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform Health & Safety risk assessments, contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Relevant qualifications and at least 2 years of experience in both property maintenance and production engineering fields.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proficiency in IT.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety and Fire Procedure Regulations.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
