Butler Rose is pleased to be working with a reputable business in Exeter to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role that offers flexibility and the opportunity for internal progression over time.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager and working in a team of finance professionals your key duties will include:
- Statutory reporting
- Management accounts preparation and review
- Cash reports and revenue forecasting
- Liaison with external auditors and other external bodies
- Preparation and review of accounts on periodic basis
- Preparation of financial statements
- Working in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical and systems skills. This role would suit someone moving straight from practice or someone already in industry looking to make a move.
