We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to establish and manage a QA function for a growing SaaS product in Exeter.
The role involves designing and executing end-to-end testing, both manual and automated, while also building and maintaining test automation for web applications and APIs.
The ideal candidate should have strong commercial QA experience and be proficient with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working independently and embedding quality into an Agile development process.
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role with a salary of £40,000, depending on experience.

QA Engineer Hybrid - Exeter -Salary - 40,000

We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to set up and own a QA function from the ground up for a growing SaaS product. You'll work closely with engineering and product teams to define testing strategy, build automation, and champion quality across the business.

What you'll do

Design and run end-to-end testing (manual + automated)
Build and maintain test automation for web apps and APIs
Own bug tracking and quality metrics
Embed quality into an Agile development process

What we're looking for

Strong commercial QA experience
Hands-on with tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
Confident testing APIs and modern web apps
Proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently
