I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established and ambitious business based in Exeter that is looking for a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead their sales function through its next phase of growth.

About the Role
As Head of Sales, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving commercial performance, and supporting the business in achieving its wider growth objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and motivating the sales team to exceed targets
- Creating and implementing a focused, results-driven sales strategy
- Building and maintaining key client relationships across the UK and overseas
- Identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion
- Collaborating with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align strategy
- Providing accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting to senior stakeholders
- Travelling internationally to support growth, relationship-building, and market development
About You
We’re looking for a Head of Sales who brings:
- A strong track record in B2B sales leadership
- Proven ability to drive growth through team performance and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in managing pipelines, targets, and commercial reporting
- A proactive, energetic approach with the confidence to lead from the front
- Flexibility to travel internationally as needed
- Presence in or near Exeter (or willingness to relocate) – you’ll be hands-on with the team and clients
