We have a new opportunity for a Disabled Facilities Grant Coordinator to join our team in Exeter.

This is a full time permanent role with a mix of home and office working. 

The starting salary is £25,000 to £29,000 per year depending on your experience.

The Role:

As a Coordinator managing our Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) you'll be liaising with our internal teams to progress requests from local authorities and following through their progress keeping everyone informed along the way.

You'll be responsible for receiving, recording and acknowledging landlord permission requests from local authorities, engaging with our teams to understand more about the properties and our customers and processing the completed works via our DFG process. 

You will be part of making sure our customers are safe by ensuring we have all the compliance documentation and meeting SNG's high data collection standards.

What we need from you:

This is a very busy role so you'll need to be highly organised and happy to get involved.

You'll need great communication skills and the ability to liaise between the local authorities and SNG.

We are looking for:

  • Strong administration skills
  • The ability to use multiple IT systems
  • Experience in securely maintaining data and spreadsheets
  • The ability to adapt within a fast paced environment
  • Experience in following and adhering to processes

Experience of working in property or housing would be helpful, but is not essential for the role.
