Site Engineer

Up to 55,000 + Car allowance
We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to join our clients team delivering a landmark development in Exeter. In this role you will look to take charge of setting out, line and level control, and quality compliance, supporting the operations team to deliver the project on time, safely, and to the highest standards.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain site controls for all setting out.
- Carry out level and positional checks for subcontractor installations.
- Read and interpret reinforcement drawings to verify accuracy.
- Liaise with subcontractor engineers, review work, and challenge where necessary.
- Raise NCRs (non-conformance reports) with the Project or Quality Manager when required.
- Update and track your section of the works programme, flagging delays early.
About You:
- Proven setting out experience.
- Skilled in managing faade, groundworks, landscaping, and fit-out contractors.
- Proficient with GPS, Total Station, laser level, and auto level.
- Experience with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
