A highly regarded regional contractor is looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to manage a significant project in Devon. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality construction and have a proven track record managing multi-million-pound builds, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:•Lead the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish.• Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme requirements are met.• Work closely with the project team to support effective project delivery.• Ensure works are progressing on track — on time, within budget, and to a high standard.• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.• Liaise with and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.• Prepare and review site reports, drawings, and technical documentation.• Manage the supply chain, direct employees, consultants, and subcontractors.• Act as a point of contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.• Provide strong leadership and direction to on-site teams.Requirements:• Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role with a main contractor.• Experience managing multi-million-pound projects across sectors such as Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, or Defence.• HNC or higher qualification in Construction or a related field.• Demonstrated financial awareness and commercial understanding.• In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and site procedures.• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and travel across Devon as needed.• Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification, and full UK driving licence.To discuss this fantastic opportunity further, please contact Nicky Harris at RGB Recruitment, Exeter.
