About Us:

United Response is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our supported living services in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including Deaf individuals, in both home and community settings.

About the role:

As a Team Leader, you will support the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the service while also providing direct, hands-on support. You'll be responsible for supervising staff, managing rotas, overseeing support plans, liaising with families and external agencies, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.

About you:

You will need to be confident in mentoring team members, have strong organisational and communication skills, and be comfortable using IT systems. You must also hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible with working hours, including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The people we support in Exmouth have a range of needs and interests, and many are active in the local community. Experience supporting Deaf people or a willingness to learn sign language would be highly valued.
