Contracts Manager - DevonWe are wishing to speak with a Contracts Manager to join a growing team working with a forward-looking construction company who specialise in refurbishment projects for major clients in the public and private sectors across the region up to a couple hundred thousand in value. As the Contracts Manager, you will manage the execution of contracts under contract conditions, work in conjunction with the project team ensuring accurate construction whilst maintaining quality and progress and will be responsible for providing sound advice, guidance and support to the project team throughout pre-construction and construction phases.Responsibilities:
  • Allocate labour resources
  • Provide supervision and support
  • Manage variations, ensure all works are priced correctly
  • Monitor work performance, quality and safety
  • Maintain site registers and records
  • Conduct induction training and toolbox talks
  • Provide regular project performance reports including a full monthly report
  • Take responsibility for the management of up to multiple site teams
  • Understand and deliver contracts within the agreed contract conditions and timeframes
Requirements:
  • IT literate including Microsoft 365, Excel
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Detailed Health and Safety knowledge
  • Knowledge of building, material components, building regulations
  • SMSTS, Relevant CSCS card
  • Relevant driving licence
