Part-Time Credit Controller (3 Days per Week)

A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to recruit an experienced Part-Time Credit Controller to support their internal finance function. Based in the Exeter office, this role offers the opportunity to work in a stunning location with the added option of hybrid working following a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage and reduce aged debt

  • Chase outstanding payments via phone and email in a professional manner

  • Reconcile accounts and process incoming payments

  • Handle account queries and manage debt recovery where necessary

  • Prepare and maintain regular credit control reports

  • Liaise confidently with clients and internal stakeholders

What They’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in credit control, ideally within a professional services setting

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Able to manage and prioritise your workload independently

  • Proficient in IT systems and finance software
