  • Degree-qualified in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Chartered or working towards CEng status with a recognised institution (e.g. IET, CIBSE)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant software: AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, NES, Cymap, MS Office
  • Commercially aware and confident in client-facing environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of electrical design services on a variety of building projects across sectors
  • Manage and mentor junior and intermediate engineers, supporting their technical growth
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and external project teams
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and contract documentation
  • Ensure designs meet quality, compliance, and safety standards
  • Support financial and project planning activities, including fee proposals and budgeting
  • Contribute to business development by helping identify new project opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Stay current with technical standards, industry trends, and legislation
