DSP/Software Enginners will be designing digital audio signal processing algorithms.Designing digital signal processing software in assembler. Freescale/Analog Devices. Designing processor communication architectures between DSP and host processor and supporting software. Evaluation and testing of signal processing function and performance. Graduate DSP Software Engineers will have a background in Electronics / Software Engineering with DSP content Audio software and DSP content Experience in audio DSP algorithm design and programming, or experience of a complex audio DSP project (during degree or work experience) The positionwill require good knowledge and understanding of someof the following : Strong understanding of digital audio signal processing theory and principles. Experience in DSP systems in assembler and some knowledge and experience of C/C++. Experience in writing assembler and designing DSP architectures (Freescale or Analog Devices SHARC a strong advantage) Interested in audio systems Passionate about audio signal processing Good communicator Self motivated Quick learner
