Finance Manager

DK Recruitment are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join a centrally based finance team in an exciting, newly created role.

Your New Role
As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of timely and accurate financial support and reporting from the Exeter finance function. Your main duties will include:

• Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensuring all financial reporting is produced to a high standard and within required deadlines
• Working closely with budget holders and senior management to support budget preparation and contribute to the medium-term business plan
• Supporting the year-end audit process, including the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy across reporting and analysis

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making at a senior level
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and provide clear, actionable insights
• Confident business partner with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
