Overview:
We're recruiting on behalf of a reputable and steadily growing construction company seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a project-based environment, and understands the nuances of financial management within the construction or trade sector.
Role Responsibilities
* End-to-end bookkeeping using Sage 50
* Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier statements
* Accounts payable/receivable management
* Payroll processing
* Producing CIS returns.
* Assisting in the production of accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
* Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors
The ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is both hands-on and experienced in producing accounts to Trial Balance. You will have a sharp eye for detail and the confidence to manage the financial function with minimal supervision. You will be AAT qualified or equivalent and ideally with some experience of the construction trade. Solid bookkeeping and accounting skills are essential.
