A Day in the Life of an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician:As an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the new aseptic unit, contributing to the validation and qualification of cutting-edge equipment, such as automated PN compounders, VHP gassing isolators, and VHP chambers. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the execution of equipment validation for new systems in the aseptic unit

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines in aseptic compounding

  • Assisting with the qualification of automated PN compounders and other equipment

  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of aseptic equipment

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment

  • Documenting all validation processes to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Technician qualification and valid registration

  • Proven experience in aseptic compounding and equipment validation

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

  • Ability to troubleshoot and ensure the functionality of aseptic equipment

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team

  • Prior experience in a sterile compounding or aseptic environment is highly desirable

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between 9:00am and 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break. The contract will start in June with the possibility of extension based on performance.
