We are recruiting in the South West of England for a versatile and hardworking Duct Engineer. The role includes varied duties, as such, the ideal engineer will have a broad skillset and a keen attitude towards training and further development where needed. You will be joining a busy and rapidly-growing Clean Air / Ductwork specialist who have a good reputation and growing national presence. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have strong hands-on experience working as a Duct Engineer within an LEV / Clean Air company
- Good understanding of TR19, DW144 and BS9999 guidelines
- Ideally will hold industry-relevant training
- Will ideally hold a valid CSCS card
- Strong written and IT skills
- Hardworking and motivated attitude
- Able to travel to client sites as required
The Role:
- Undertaking the servicing, repairs and installation of ductwork and dust extraction systems and its components
- Inspecting existing systems for performance issues and making recommendations for repair or replacement
- AHU inspections and cleaning
- Fitting of access doors
- Completing regular service reports, including photographs where needed
- Meeting with clients on site to establish requirements and discuss the outcome of inspections and servicing duties
- Maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients
- Travelling to client sites as required
