The Role
My client is seeking an organised and proactive Expeditor to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to supporting Customer Account Managers and ensuring the smooth progression of orders from quotation through to delivery. The successful candidate will liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics providers to ensure service levels are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process accurate sales quotes within agreed timeframes
- Proactively follow up on quotations to maximise order conversions
- Select appropriate products and suppliers to process orders accurately
- Monitor supplier deliveries and manage ETA communications
- Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Organise global collections and coordinate logistics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal records
- Engage in ongoing training and contribute to process improvements
