Are you a sales manager or similar with an interest in the maritime industry?

Are you looking to implement your extensive sales knowledge, developing and inspiring a team of sales professionals?

On offer is the opportunity to join a company operating from offices across Europe, that has supplied the maritime industry for over 25 years. They offer a comprehensive service that includes procurement and logistical support, ensuring vessels run smoothly and efficiently. This company works with companies such as Hapag-Lloyd, Virgin, Carnival, and some of the most prestigious superyachts and shipyards in the world.

In this role you will take proactive leadership of the of the sales team, you will be responsible for growing and inspiring talent, passing on experience and inspiring the team. You will develop new business strategies, analyse and critique reports to identify challenges and promote growth, and ensure performance targets are met.

The Role:

  • Attending national and international networking events to promote the company
  • Driving growth of the business through implementing effective sales strategies
  • Empowering the sales teams within the business to be entrepreneurial and strategic
  • Lead the implementation of the strategic company growth plan
  • Introduce and implement new business ideas for revenue generation
  • Gross margin management and consistently reviewing and improving resourcing of sales activity input

The Person:

  • Proven track record in sales management
  • Excellent people management skills
